We want to express our deepest gratitude to Worship Pastor Gary Jameson and his wife Suzie for their faithful and dedicated service over the years. Each week Gary has led us into God’s presence with passion and skill, and Suzie has been right there supporting him and our church every step of the way. We are so thankful for the lasting impact they’ve made in our lives and the life of Broadview! We rejoice with Gary as he prepares to step into this new season of retirement later this year and pray that God blesses them both with rest, joy, and wonderful new adventures ahead.

As we celebrate Gary and Suzie’s years of ministry, we are excited to announce that we are now beginning our search for our next Worship Minister. We are confident that God has someone special in store to continue leading us in powerful, Christ-centered worship!

Broadview’s Worship Minister (or “Worship Pastor,” if eligible) will partner closely with the Pastors to plan and lead engaging, Christ-centered worship services that lead people to encounter God. This role emphasizes humble servant leadership, musical excellence balanced with accessibility, leading a small team of volunteers, and a willingness to become a member of the church. The position is part-time, approximately 10-20 hours per week (primarily Sundays, with prep and occasional rehearsals/special events).

• Accountable To: Pastors and Gathered Congregation
• Ministry Focus: To lead the entire congregation in the worship of God
• Position Is: Part-time paid staff
• Pay: Based on qualifications and responsibilities
• Position May Be Filled By: Adult with full or part-time job elsewhere • Mature college student with experience leading worship
• Potential Qualities: Good singing voice • Musical ability (guitar or keyboard) • Prayerful • Joyful • Outgoing • Administration
• Passion For: Experiencing God’s presence • Leading God’s people in worship • Ministering through music with a variety of styles and songs • Living according to God’s Word

ANTICIPATED TIME COMMITMENT/RESPONSIBILITIES: Avg. 10-20 hours/week

• Lead Sunday morning worship. Occasional responsibilities on Sunday evenings or special events
• Lead worship practice with Worship Team (potentially mid-week)
• Oversee all musical and technological equipment
• Potentially serve as one of our church’s Pastors (if qualified and called)
• Other church responsibilities as gifted and able
